Quinn Barabash has over 10 years of experience working in multiple disciplines within the environmental sector. He specializes in fisheries and wildlife sciences and social sciences. He has experience in community outreach and environmental awareness, rehabilitation and restoration on the Sunshine Coast. He has worked as senior project manager responsible for developing relations with various stakeholders such as Sechelt First Nations, Salmon Enhancement Society, Squamish Stream Keepers, Sechelt Fish Hatchery, BC Hydro, Provincial and Federal Governments. In this capacity he was responsible for delivering scope, methodology, timelines, and budgets. As a fisheries biologist/natural resource specialist for Cambria Gordon, he conducted fish surveys, sampling and data collection, reporting and literature reviews, environmental base-line assessments and collecting field data, as well as managing eulachon habitat and performing habitat usage assessment.
