Formally trained as a geologist and mining tech, Brian’s career includes five years as a senior Accident Prevention Officer and Blasting Examiner with the province’s Worker’s Compensation Board (now Worksafe BC) before moving on to the private sector to establish his own consulting firm.
Based in Prince George, BC, Brian is a sought-after expert when it comes to developing public and private sector policy and certification guidelines. He has committed thousands of volunteer hours serving on provincial boards and committees, representing both industry and government with groups such as the Forest Practices Code Training Task Force and Task Force on Commercial Vehicle Safety.
